What does the score mean?
The score combines benchmark results into a shared comparison scale. The ± figure expresses uncertainty in that estimate. Small differences are less useful when uncertainty overlaps. A star marks a model with few benchmark results.
Read the methodology and each model's source breakdown before relying on a rank.
What are comparison sets under Extra?
Some groups of models have too little benchmark overlap to place on the main score scale. They are shown in the list, but their overall score is marked “not yet calibrated.”
Selecting a set under Extra filters the model list. It keeps the overall score scale by default. Choose within selected set to use scores calculated for that group. Those scores compare models within that set; they should not be compared with scores from another set.
What does the hardware filter check?
It estimates which available downloads fit your RAM and GPU memory, including runtime headroom. Some models can use slower CPU offload. Larger context windows and different runtimes can need more memory than the estimate.
Selecting an exact chip can show speed measurements when there is a reviewed result for that hardware and download. A blank speed means the site does not have an applicable measurement.
Does “local” mean free?
The local price filter excludes paid API access and shows downloadable models. You still supply the hardware and electricity. Check the model's licence for any restrictions on your use.
Why do some models disappear when I set a budget?
Models with no suitable local download and no API within your budget are hidden. Unknown API prices cannot satisfy a price limit. Use show them beneath the table to include models that do not fit.
Retired models with no current run option are hidden separately and can also be shown.
Can I share my filters?
Yes. Copy the address from your browser. Common hardware, budgets and comparison sets have their own pages; additional choices are kept in the URL. Sorting and filtering happen in your browser after the page loads.
How do I fix a mistake or add a model?
